Balm Ministries Church of God in Christ & the Montgomery County Ministry for Economic Development, Incorporated was Founded by Elder Harold L. Cook. Elder Cook is the husband of Missionary Elaine Cook of 40 years and the proud father of three successful children. 

Elder Cook received his B.S. degree in Medical Technology from State University of New York, at Buffalo, and is a candidate for a Masters in Theology from Zoe University in Jacksonville, Florida.

He is also a graduate of Samuel Kelsey Institute. Elder Cook has been a gospel minister for 28 years and was ordained in 1978 by Bishop Leroy Anderson, General Board Member (COGIC).
